I only have a part of the report key, because nobody has a screenshot of the pause menu. But one has streamed with the webcam above the code ☹️
Part of the report code: ****-*HXG-JKJV-MXDE
Hope that helps a bit.

Almost certainly desync but the game decided to go down an “intermittent connection is okay” route many iterations ago.
There is I believe either too much data overhead, too much reliance on host connection, reliance on in front and behind (and the switchover). Plus the AI (including SC) also rely as or interact as a connection. Cabled minimizes latency but it doesn’t help with exclusivity or minimum bandwidths it’s all “best effort”. Some PC LAN has a kind of “gaming QoS” but it’s not always at a driver level.
Haven’t done packet analysis because IANAP.
WiFi because consoles is likely but the session code analysis should prove it.Don’t know what else to say other than I don’t or very rarely lose connection to a lobby but there will be players who constantly lose connection and think nothing of resuming or rejoining. But this behaviour is condoned.
The game has to be better at dealing with those that don’t come back as well. Gamers do, for various reasons, terminate their connections spuriously, regardless of platform.
Those that remain connected often bear the consequences in the gameplay. Not claiming that the game is bug free, but this has always been a major factor in multiplayer.

Thank you for your replies and ideas for solution.
Since my problem we started a new league without crossplay because we blamed the problem on the crossplay servers and now unfortunately 3 players (PC) can't play anymore.
last week we had the same problem with the warm-up round even though we had crossplay disabled. so the game has a massive problem with desync. Luckily we were able to deactivate the warm-up round afterwards and restarted the session. Without the warm-up round there is no problem with the warm-up round (which is not the solution to the problem, just a workaround).
The host of this race crashed and was forced to leave the session by the game. The host was migrated again and the next big errors happen during the host migration. 1-2 players are still visible and physically in the race, but are driving in their own session. These 1-2 players are driving their own race and the positions and SC phases do not match the other drivers. And when they are invisible to others, you crash them in corners in their game. DESYNC.Yesterday we had another race and the same error occurred with the desync after the host migration.
I also have a report code from this session: SECK-EPCH-BAKR-SHEG.If you need the report code to be able to trace a session error, then this code should also be displayed somewhere in the results window or in the ranking list or something else. During the session, hardly anyone will go to the menu and photograph or write down the code. The way it is solved now is not really practicable.

LukSte9799 had the problem with desync and so he was able to overtake me in SC because he didn't see me in his session. In his session i was still in front of him but everyone else was sync with the new host.

@EA_Groguet tagging for session code.
