F1 23 doesnt launch

When trying to open f1 23 from EA app, it just says "launching game" forever. If opened directly from the .exe, it says "preparing game" forever. I have tried every possible troubleshooting i could find, including a complete reset of my pc. Yet it stil doesn't work, and it seems i have wasted my money
