I'm not sure this is a bug. You get fuel for laps in practice and qualifying. If you use your tires more than that, then you don't got enough tire life for the featured race. so once fuel is up, your session can be closed and you'll be fine in the feature race.
So that means like 5 laps for practice and 2 flying laps for qualifying. And then use those two tires as 2 stop in feature race.
I play full simulation, no assist and hard a. i. on gamepad with trigger feedback for traction limit.
I noticed its quicker to learn a track with the suggestion driving line assist on.
So I won 3 of 6 races with this assist without having to use many tires to learn a track before racing.
I qualified 2nd on baku on my second flying lap. With just 5 laps of practice.
the driving line assist is sort of like getting ridd of having to watch and study onboard cameras just because tires are too expensive. FIA is taking away tires for carbon emmisions or something.
we have 5 tire slots 3 mediums and 2 softs. when we play 35% race with full Qualy, we play the Sprint with the second soft tyre, and in the feature race we play with the soft we used in qualy, but it comes with wear above what we left in Qualy proving to be an excessive wear bug . And in long and complete races we make the Qualy complete with the soft tire quiet and in the Sprint we use the hard tire the whole race, but when we go to the feature race we can't choose the third hard tire left with only the hard one used in the Sprint available and so the game thank you we make 2 stops

They will have three “prime” specification sets and two of the “option” specification. Each driver will also be provided with three sets of wet-weather tyres. So the game is accurate.

So, the game must be adding some tire wear when we go to the race because the times we used the soft tires in Sprint and Qualy in the main race, it was supposed to be in the same wear that we had left in past races no get 100% worn out
- IAGOBERNARDES112 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@DRudd13 And it could also be that this happens only in runs of being 35% and 50% because in a full run I haven't tested it yet

@IAGOBERNARDES11I'm doing 35% and have never seen the 100% worn tyres, and I'm just about to start Austria. But I did think it was a bug when I started out, but that was my naivety and doing 3/4 flying laps in qualifying. For the last few races I've done today with just 1 flying lap, my tyres have never been more than 10% worn for the feature race.
Edit:
I'm not saying it wasn't a bug in the past. Just it doesn't seem to be effecting it now.
