F1 23 Improvements/F124 Ideas

Not sure if this is in the right area or not. Apologies!

F1 23 is solid, there are things to still tweak in my opinion however:

Slipstream: wayyyy too powerful. You can follow and gain on a car in qualy in a slipstream with no drs or ERS being used.

Drs trains as a whole oh career mode make strategy differences next to impossible.

Damage model for player vs AI needs tweaked as they still feel like a solid object. You can practically drive into them deliberately and only give them wing damage and their wheel and floor are intact.

2 player career: AI are not the same pace and or aggression/behaviour as AI on single player. Even the damage model is different on Coop.

F1 24 Suggestions:

•Addition of numbers to helmets

•Give players ‘base’ designs for helmets that we can add to, to make players look more unique!

•Allow us to edit sponsor placements on suits and helmets and the colour of sponsors also.

•Add in realistic liveries for cars instead of some designs that are over the top imo.

•Add in an age verification like NASCAR games have where we can choose to have 18+ sponsors on the car (tobacco/alcohol).

•F1 World building materials, bring this to my team it’s the perfect platform.

•Discounted engine supply if you hire a ‘academy driver’ from that team.

F1 games can be even better. Let’s not settle for how it is. We should always be looking to improve!

    @SyKoSwish Slipstream is actually fairly realistic as it is, however the dirty air -> downforce loss is way too low, i have worked out more realistic values that i will suggest to them some time down the line, but it definitely shouldnt be less slipstream/DRS, dont make things less realistic to fix problems caused by unrealistic things
  • I do think dirty air could be an answer to it, especially with it slowly creeping back in this season more than last season.

    It would increase race craft with online drivers also, make them work for their overtakes and pick the right moment

  • I would love to see career mode being able to have full control off a current f1 team also.  Also the quick practice for shorter sessions be modified so it matched to the long practice. so all goals can be completed in the shorter practices.  Also would love to see some more tracks we can choose from to add to career mode such as , Malaysia, Turkey
