So no psvr2 support for F1 ‘23
- @ha6hk3w77mwj Too bad, but hence we’re talking EA here, I should have seen it coming.
Good thing I didn’t preorder though. No F1 23 for me. - @coopa300 No i will skip F1 ‘23 also, it’s a real shame
Extremely disappointing. So that's me out this year as I have no interest in the game now and I guess I wont be the only one feeling this way. See you in a years time to see if they realise what opportunity they just let pass by. Good look to the next racing game that chooses to ride on the wave of GT7's success in VR.
Poor codemasters and EA. really poor.
Also for me, I'll skip. Such a missed opportunity imo.
- @lufc100 I guess EA couldn’t afford it. They only made a net profit of 6.99 billion dollars for the fiscal year of 2022…
They should open a Go Fund Me page so we can all chip in…
🙄 - @coopa300 There is a reason why EA was voted the worst company for many years in a row
Yeah me skipping F1 23 too this year. I enjoy GT7 with PSVR 2 much much better.
People somehow appalled that PSVR2 support won't be included should bear in mind that F1 23 development will have started a couple of years ago. There's also a fair chance of a major game engine change soon once support for last gen consoles is dropped, after which effort for something like this feels more likely to me.
I wouldn't be surprised if EA were also talking time to assess PSVR2 sales and the likely market if they did go to the effort of adding support. Those who own and like the system will obviously want support but if this is a tiny fraction of total players then they need to weigh up putting resources into this over other changes that far more players would appreciate.
