F1 23 Sound Bug
Product: F1 23 Platform:Steam-PC Please specify your platform model. PC Summarize your bug A little over halfway through a full race at during the Hungarian GP in career mode, all sound just stopp...
It's an issue I've not had before and had this problem around an hour ago when three quarters of the race was run. It occurred on Lap 45 of the Bahrain GP.
Full Race: 100%. Everything worked fine last week when I played this game, with no issues at all, and now the sound drops out. had to play the race in silence, as I wasn't going to restart it. I don't do miid race saves unless I have to, and I didn't have one for this race either.
The Headphones with mic (USB cable connection). Switched ports and it still cut out (checked everything and my Headphones, and speakers all work fine.
The audio was not muted, nor was the sound turned down in error either. I switched over to my speakers and the same thing happened with them. Not a peep out of the game. I removed the headphones and reconnected them.
Same thing again. Audio worked for about 2 minutes on both headphones and the speakers too, then it stopped entirely. No audio from the game at all.
Tabbed out of the game, again to check audio settings and everything worked fine when using other audio outputs, online videos, Youtube. News media reports, music etc and other games too, as they all worked fine and without any issues.
Even restarted my PC and went back in to the game, for the next race and it happened again.
Before EA say it's my fault it aint.
ALL my drivers, etc: for my PC are up to date, and it's not an old PC system either, it's about 3 years old, and top end too.

Losing the sound during a race is a different issue to the one posted by the OP. I will try to merge your post with that with a similar issue.
Still a loss of sound IN THE GAME fella. Doesn't matter how you cut it. It's a game issue.

You may find more help here with the post grouped with those with the same issue or you can be notified of a fix.
No need to be rude, consider your own response rather than project onto mine, thanks.
This bug occurred for me again today. Only workaround I could find was to mid-session save, completely quit the game and start the race again.
