F1 24 game should also include Formula 3 and Porsche Supercup modes

FIA Formula 3 Championship and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup

As FIA Formula 3 Championship and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup are de facto FIA Formula 1 World Championship support race championships respectively, EA Sports should develop F1 24 game including the addition of FIA Formula 3 Championship and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in the Race Weekend, Championship and Career modes in order to improve Formula 1 gaming experience. I recall EA Sports ever develop NASCAR game including Busch/Nationwide (now Xfinity), Truck and Modified series alongside Cup in Race Weekend, Championship and Career modes. In Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup mode, player can use the cockpit camera mode like in NASCAR games.

Would you like to see FIA Formula 3 Championship and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup included in F1 24 game?

  • Considering that a good amount of people just straight up skip and never touch F2, I don't think F3 is required. Sure, could be nice to have it, but I don't think many would be interested.

Porsche Supercup on the other hand, potentially could be implemented as it would be a sidegrade to F1/F2 (something different than open-wheels of F1/F2) but Supercars in F1 23 are already difficult to handle, so it's difficult to say whether it is necessary.

    Tl;dr:

    - F3 is a no from me, as F2 already is barely touched by many

    - Supercup is a maybe

Yeah I play F1 games solely for F1.  Rather more features and depth added to F1 not new race series

    Hey, pal!

Personally, I have no interest in driving those cars in Codemasters' F1 games. Don't think they're be good enough to have fun with, specially the Porsche Supercup given how poor supercars handle in this franchise. Then again, that's me and I'm not representative of player base.

F3 I see getting just as much love as F2 - which is to say, functionally none.

Subjective take aside, figuratively speaking the Porsche and F3 licenses aren't sold on the same stall as F1. And I'm not positive they're up to grabs either, as both the F3 and the Porsche are present in iRacing in an official capacity. F3 cars are an old spec car if I'm not mistaken but Porsche is current.

So I'm not sure EA would be down to pay for the bidding price, and I'm not sure Porsche specifically would be down to the arcade experience EA has to offer. And that's working on the premise that Liberty would be ok with having other series competing for the spotlight with F1.

There's one very valid and very appealing point you touch though, and that's the extra immersion of having supporting events around F1 GPs. Even when the gameplay falters, the feeling of experiencing a genuine F1 weekend always rang true in this franchise. I'd say it's getting a bit stale though, with the same presentation and packaging we've been seeing for who knows how many years (and games) at this point.

Would love to see that getting revamped.

Having F3 and the Porsche GT3 Cup car in the game... nah 🙃

They're super fun to drive! The 992 Cup car especially, I race them weekly on iRacing. Nothing would bother me to take those cars for a ride in an EA F1 game though.

  • hey bro

    this is F1 game.

    I don't even play F2.

we don't need supercars, Porsche whatever.

    Even F1 not good enough

I can only agree, this is a F ONE game and it should focus on F1 and go into more detail and not add other series that no one uses and bring more problems into the game.

  • No thank you. I’d rather they spend all time and resources to perfecting the F1 part of the game as that in itself is still very flawed.

I’d even go as far as removing the F2 portion of the game. It’s just not needed.

  • I fully agree, F2 is one of the most fun in these games, the handling is really good, also a lot of people play F3 in other games. I wish they drop the Supercar stuff out of the game and put at least F3. Better content then Supercars. For the people who don't want to play it, just keep not playing, but at least you can choose to. The option to try it and have fun would still be there so, yeah, fingers crossed. The new WRC game have a lot more content than the F1 game, without compromising the gameplay, so no excuses for the lack of these two classes.

    And Formula Electric please! =D

Most developments and progress are in formula electric.

It is a wonderful yearly series.

Allot of formula 1 drivers stepped over to formula electric.

It drives very satisfying. And the developments each year means a new series each year.

    Constant improvements.

    Even on off track developments.

@JayCGJ09 wow talk about being a thread back from the dead.

but sorry, no, this is a bad idea for a couple of reasons, licensing and resources.

CM / EA aren’t going to spend money to purchase the license for something only a small position of the player base is interested in. Plus Porsche Super Cup doesn’t fall under the FOM’s jurisdiction so they would need their permission to include which they are unlikely to grant as it’s a competing series.

then you have the issue of using up development resources that would be better served giving career mode an overhaul, improving the game engine, or fixing bugs. We need a better game not more clutter.

If you want to drive non F1 cars there’s plenty of games for that, Forza, Gran Turismo, Assetto Corsa etc.
