MORE INFO:
This happens every time I start the game, after the first F1 World event.
I mean, the first F1 World event I do (no matter which one) will be normal (dry tyres for a dry race).
But from the next event (whichever it is), the game begins to give everyone (me and the AIs) the blue (wet) tyres for dry races..
So, if I want to race properly, I need to restart my game after each F1 World event..
It was working just fine for almost a year, until a few days ago - never had this issue before. Only now.
Yes , i had the same thing bleu tires on a dry track , it realy takes you by suprise and i am done with this messed up game, also the ranked mess at the moment is realy putting me off.
Realy this game is a bad advetisement for the next release.

I also tried uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it again and.. the issue is still happening..
F1 World Solo Event number 1 = ok (right tyres)
F1 World Solo Event number 2 = issue (wrong tyres)
So, it looks ok after I turn the game on and race the first f1 World event (whichever I pick)..
Then from the second event on (whichever I pick), the problem happens again and then the game keeps giving me wet (blue) tyres for dry events 'forever'.. Try this it works for me on PS5,
After you select the race goto the
'Rules and Flags' page go down to the weekend tyre allocation and select softer tyre allocation, then start the race and if it's like mine you should have soft tyres not wet.

@SammySneed
Thanks for the suggestion, mate, but I'm sorry to inform it didn't work for me on PC.
I even tried selecting the Hard tyres allocation and then going back to the Balanced option (meaning I tried all 3 options, separately) and none of them worked.
Here's what I did and what I still got:A LIL' BIT MORE INFO ABOUT THE ISSUE:
After some tests, I found out the problem is actually my Profile file that got corrupted.
On a PC and through Steam, the file is located at:
..\Steam\userdata\[YOUR USER NUMBER]\2108330\remote
And it's the *.BWW file.
If I remove/move this file (make sure to create a backup first!), the game works just fine, BUT.. I lose:
- ALL of my Career saves
- ALL of my custom controls configs (in my case, my G29 wheel)
- ALL of my F1 World car & character configs (but NOT my F1 World progress)
- ALL of my car setups
And although the problem affects the F1 World events, removing the .BWW file does NOT affect your F1 World progress (neither your Podium Pass progress).
Yes, I tried to recover the file through Steam's cloud save, but even that file got corrupted too, so.. I have no other option on how to solve this - there's no way to open/edit the file manually on Windows Notepad, or anything like that.
The only 'workaround' that actually works for me is to restart my game after each event - as I said before, the first event I do is always ok, but the problem happens from the 2nd event on.
And now that F1 24 is about to be released, I doubt there's gonna be any fix for my issue.
I think it's just a shame that it's 'coded' this way.. I mean.. your Profile file gets corrupted and it screws up your game, unless you lose all of your saves and start all over.. - "brilliant" (and oh, I'm being ironic/sarcastic)!

This issue just started happening to me on the Xbox one s console a few days ago. Very frustrating. I have to restart my game as well to fix it. Very annoying. It wasn't like this a week ago.
- J-TyrrellF12 years agoSeasoned Traveler@SexyBrigadeiro Today 1st May it’s wet tyres for all dry races in F1 world solo quick races. This game is the last F1 game I will buy, it has been one the worst racing games I have bought
My workaround is to restart the game. Works every time 🙂
