Full TC Test

I decided to do this test to get a better understanding of this issue.

I did 2 back to back 5 lap races at Holland with the same setups.

FTC.                        NTC.

116.948.                  117.482

113.337.                  113.492

113.298.                  114.544

113.855.                  114.402

113.535.                  113.724

As you can see there is more consistency with FTC by a little but nothing I couldn't setup around.......but there is a problem.

FTC has an added benefit that causes it to be better. 

The car DOESN'T Bottom with FTC and the time difference is the car dragging. Again I can raise my RH but I'll be giving up down force to FTC.

Is this the way FTC is supposed to work?  I honestly don't have any idea but might need looked at.

Beyond that @Ialyrn largely covered the limitation of anyone trying to test this I think - the more somebody is able to drive optimally without assists the more likely they are to notice a detriment from not doing so. I drive without TC but I wouldn't be remotely surprised if I'd be faster with it. My reason to drive without assists, or using cockpit cam, is not because I think it's faster though.

    Edit: Marcel's video did also highlight how hard it is to test this reliably due to normal variation between laps anyway.

    @Ultrasonic_77 Another difference is the track I used for the test.

    This has got me wondering if the FTC model from F1 20 (or sooner) has been carried over to the Ground Effects Era?
    This is why I think it Might need to be looked at but without more info/data its really hard to tell imo.
