Game Crashes Ruining Ranked

Playing on PS5 and I've lost count of the number of times the game has crashed while in them middle of a ranked race.  Every time this results in -50pts and has, on numerous occasions, cost me promotions.  The system is broken as it is with trolls able to ruin your race at the drop of a hat, but when the game isn't stable enough either, what are you supposed to do?

Of course, this is nothing compared to points randomly being deducted between races.  -150pts this season and counting.
