I noticed the option to dismantle unique items and think it is a big oversight to let the player dismantle unique items in the first place.
This need to be addressed quickly to avoid further accidents like this.
I fear this won't be possible. No consolation I know but that's the funniest thread title I've seen in ages!

I don't want to give any false hope, but I imagine that it shouldn't be impossible for a developer to re-add Günther Steiner to a specific user which have previously unlocked and accidentally dismantled the item.
Because I think that this is a really big oversight as this is an "unique" item that, as far as we know, can only be obtained from one place during a certain time frame.

I'll be honest I don't actually recall an equivalent ever happening on and F1 game I'm afraid. A global fix tends to be more likely in my experience. I have flagged this issue though as I do think it's a fair point that we may find this is a common mistake people regret.
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Ultrasonic_77 I mean, when did an F1 game last give you any chance to dismantle Günther Steiner? This is an unprecedented situation.
I can't recall any previous F1 game giving the player the ability to destroy drops anyway, but are open to be proven wrong. So this most certainly need to be mitigated somehow.
This is regarding the save data that is being stored in the cloud itself, so I don't see it being impossible to fix it as a one-time fix for a specific user, and then roll out a larger fix that makes the user unable to dismantle unique items as a long term solution.

It’s a good job you didn’t dismantle Mike Krack! :-)
