Summarize your bug I get a significant performance drop at night events which can't be corrected with any graphics options.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? SXES-SAKG-HAET-XBEE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Telekom
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start any event at night time.
What happens when the bug occurs? Frame rate goes down to an unreasonable level.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see some drops, but not that much.
I played my first weekend in Qatar, Practice was at sunset where everything was fine. I played with low-medium settings which the game recommended and FPS was stable, surely above 50.
Then Qualifying came and frame rate dropped by a significant amount. I surprised because the game's predecessors I doesn't experienced such a phenomenon. I tried lower graphics setting, but whatever I tried frame rate was below I think 40. Only dynamic resolution with the worst looking settings can achieved something.
So it looks like graphics settings does not have an effect on this, because I doesn't get much FPS with a significant lowering in the graphic settings.
@Feca0 i know man, i tried las vegas at night and i had like 30 fps too, i hope they fix it , its only with night races (singapore, abu dhabi, bahrain, LA)
Something is definitely messed up with night races. During a short race in Bahrain on lap 8 the horizon suddenly became very foggy, dark and somewhat pixelated. Everything that moved over it was smeared around the edges. The graphics were okay until the sun set and then it looked terrible.
Take a look at this video of Bahrain on lap 8. The sun sets and the horizon suddenly changes and looks very degraded. Everything in front of it takes on a weird bright outline and my car antennae smears it around. Ray traced reflections in the car seem off as well.

I have a high end PC and have tried all manner of settings and nothing fixes it.. it looks like I have 5 antenna on the front of the car when cornering... trees are the same when turning corners,,, they seem to "smear" and its so distracting.
