Sadly, I am at this point also. But not because I have a mancrush on Nyck de Vries (I'm more a Jenson man). 😉
Was supposed to have a league race last night but it was Qatar. Now I neither play the game at any other time other than a social practice on a Thursday and the actual race on a Sunday.
It was booted up more times to actually check or verify bugs when I was active as a Champion and to install patches.
The desire to play the game is virtually zero. Large swathes of it are unattractive and the bits that are aren't working very well (Multiplayer, Grand Prix, TT).

Bugged as of v1.20 constantly says Realistic performance when you change it it doesn’t stay changed. Think I’ve highlighted the issue pretty well, but it is known to devs.
I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it 3 times 😁
