Joining a league in progress?

We have a league with 19 drivers, 3 of 23 rounds complete.

Final driver is trying to join, but only gets the option to be a Follower, Full Time driver is greyed out/unavailable.

Any solution?

I know this feature is currently under development. Currently, you cannot participate in the middle of an ongoing league.

Yeah, what @kkulkkule said is correct. Joining mid-season is not currently permitted in scheduled leagues.
However, this is allowed in the on-demand leagues. This is because the scheduled leagues need to run the tiering process where as the on-demand leagues do not.

Hopefully this won't be a problem when the reserves update goes in.

Thanks for your replies, much appreciated.

Unfortunately, as we’re only trying to run a league with 20 drivers so don’t use tiering etc, we’ll just have to move the league to private lobbies for the time being.

@DGBoothX No problem.
If you are only using 20 people, you could setup an on-demand league?

It's just that you wouldn't have scheduled races, might still be easier than private lobbies though.

Is it possible to convert our existing scheduled league to an on demand one? That's going unused for now.

@DGBoothX Unfortunately it's not possible to convert a scheduled league to OD, the reason this isn't supported is due to how tiering works between the modes.
