Linking (6) PS4's for Multiplayer LAN

I am trying to link 👿 PS4's together to play a multiplayer LAN game on F1 23. I am trying to figure out if this is possible and how to do so if it is. I tried creating a LAN session with 🏈 PS4's on the same network but was unsuccessful. I tried a network switch with the 🏈 PS4's and was still unsuccessful. I keep getting the error code, Unable to join session. Basically, I want 👿 PS4's each with their own F1 23 game and PSN account, to be able to run a LAN race with all 👿 PS4s together.

  • Hi, I use to play in LAN without any issue on F1 23 (one PS5 and one PS4): I just create a LAN session inside the game with one ("host a lan game") and join with the other one ("find game on subnet" or something similar), that's all. Clearly both systems are in the same network. Which are exactly your steps?

  • I have gone through that same process with both PS4s on the same network. Tried both wired and on wifi. Tried a network switch which didn't work either. When I had one game create the session, I used the other to find the game through the subnet which populated but I could never get it to join. Would it be easier on PC? Am I missing a setting or something for these PS4's to link and work in the game?

I did nothing to make it work, do you have your PS4s connected to the same router? Wired (ethernet) should be optimum.

Are they normally connected to the internet? It sounds weird...
