Mysterious ffb issue brand new csl dd

Greetings!

When I start the game and go in any (old/new) career, my force feedback is not working correctly. The power stays on, but it does completely random things. Sometimes I have to turn my wheel to go straight. Weird bumps and pulls. The next race, there is no force feedback at all until game restart. The weird thing is, if I start the game and instantly go in a time trial, everything seems to work.

I tried everything. Reconnect hardware, change driver versions, reinstalled the game through steam, repair the game, different usb ports. Nothing.

I have zero issues in Asetto Corsa and iRacing, so I think I can safely say the issue is game related.

Whenever I go to F1 23 calibration in controls settings to see the inputs, it’s correct (0 degrees center etc.) but that’s not translating to in game. I am clueless, at this point the game is useless for me since I only race with wheel.

Is there anything to try? I can’t find a single topic about this which relates to my issue. I have played F1 20 and 21 flawless with my CSL Elite. Now I have a CSL DD, Formula V2.5, which are both brand new. All readings and calibrations look perfect, but F1 is acting very strange in careermodes.

What is happening with my wheel and car in careermode? Damages and stuff are off. How can time trial work properly and career not when (controls) settings are applied to all gamemodes. Reselecting a new preset for my wheel with default settings doesn’t do the trick either ☹️
