I don't know if this was said here, but a few months ago I had the exact same situation with ACC, which got me thinking it had something to do with TrueForce.
So I went to the G923 post and a guy there posted a temp fix that works for me (Xbox Series X), Credit to @NormBash84.
All you need to do is after the user login at the main menu, press the Xbox button to bring the side menu, then power cycle the wheel (Long press on the red button on the wheel base to turn off and then a short press to turn on), after the wheel recalibrate click 'B' to return to the game and that's it.
If it doesn't work, do the same thing when on track just click the pause button before doing the rest.
Hope this help you guys and hopefully EA will get their heads out of their *** and we won't have to do this for long.
Good luck

@RLI_OshryC "Long press on the red button on the wheel base to turn off" What red button are you referring too??

@Shoegazer75 On the wheel base, labled "start/Stop".

- 2 years ago@RLI_OshryC I don't understand, you say G923 but that's a Pro. There's no such button that I know of in the G923.
