Perhaps Sainz since he is not happy at Ferrari, especially regarding the strategies last couple of races

Interesting to see if they put him in the game then since he'll do more of the season than Nyck.
Last time there was a change like this was 2016 and 17 I believe? Ocon replacing Haryanto and Sainz for Palmer but the changes weren't reflected in game. Verstappen/Kvyat and Gasly/Albon swaps were both technically the same contract just in a different seat so will be interesting to see if we'll see Ricciardo replace De Vries in game. I imagine they will since Ricciardo is under the Red Bull contract anyway and back in 2016 and 17 they weren't doing in season updates for drivers. Should be easy for then as well since Ricciardo's model is in the game and his driver profile is present due to Braking Point. They also did swap Calderon for Bolukbasi in F2 22 as well so probably a good chance Ricciardo will be in the game next patch. Hopefully with better stats than he had in 22!
Will we get Ricciardo instead De Vries with the next update and when will it possibly be?

maybe on performance update patch, maybe
- matty0blobber3 years agoNew AceI love me some honey badger but I don't think we'll see him until he's added in the sports update, The only way he gets added before would be as an icon like Hulkenberg was last year.

It could be you.
- peter75pc3 years agoNew Adventurer@ScarDuck14 Danni Ric! Next season. By putting him in the AT seat, they have sawed 3 legs of Checo’s chair and set fire to the 4th.
Checo is done in my opinion (IMO in modern speak?). If Rico performs and scrapes a few points together he’ll be in the second Red Bull next year. Otherwise they might have a chat with Sainz. His last Instagram posts highlighted he is not a happy bunny at Ferrari. Strategy is a total mess there.
Helmut Marko is not happy with the performance of the whole AT team. It has already been announced Tost is moving on next year. So they’ll put Lawson and Iwasa in the seats next year, with new team management.
And yes, some people might have contracts till 2028, but we all know that in F1 they are not worth the paper they are printed on. Driver salaries are not part of ‘the Cap’, so companies with deep pocket will just pay a driver to sit at home.
Just my brain waves…. - matty0blobber3 years agoNew Ace@peter75pc They favour Charles so heavily at Ferrari cause he's the closest thing to an Italian driver right now. It makes you feel so bad for Carlos after some of the crap they've pulled lately, not letting him pass in Austria when he was clearly faster and now at Silverstone letting him stagnate on Hards.
Yes he complains a lot but he has every right with the way they've treated him.
Maybe they've already decided to move on and thats why this is happening, they could be eyeing Bottas because he's at Alfa Romeo after all.
