on PS5 same problem, cant do a TT because my wheelbase is in front of my osd. Yes I have tried L3, moved it in every mode, didnt work ☹️

Can confirm this is still happening today and its super annoying. It seems to be ok for certain game modes, my custom OSD seems to work on my team, but it doesnt work on TT at all and it is intermittent online. To add to this, I have a custom pitlane OSD, since with my camera settings I can't see the green light in the box with the default OSD, so I have moved most items upwards so I can see the light, this isn't working on ANY game mode at all. Is there a fix in sight for this?
This is getting ridiculous. Apparently it doesn't work in MyTeam either during practice sessions (works fine in MyTeam race and grand prix mode). This causes the progress graphic sitting in the upper middle of the screen to block out my braking points. Needless to say that this renders the game undrivable in certain crucial moments. Fix your damn game Codemasters!
Please someone at EA or Codies fix this, tried on many occasions to set OSD in several different modes and non ever save.
The practice modes in any career games are impossible as the target panel thing is right in the middle of screen so impossible to complete them.
Game is unplayable in any career game due to this, well it's fine if you skip practice but that holds you back getting r&d discounts.
