Take a look on your hardware setting config file in my documents/myGames F1 2023:
Under Post processing:
<postprocess motionBlur="False" godRays="true" depthOfField="True" lensStreak="true" lensFlare="true" bloom="true" motionBlurV2="False" />
You will see there are 2 settings for motion blur. Set both of them to false
I would even try Depth of field to "false" also, if it doesn't help.
Or just turn Post processing to Low in the game menu. It should get rid of the horrible blur in the distance.
You can keep DLSS enabled with the above method.
EA...... Stop Over Processing your games as default. There is no need for this amount of fake blur and horrible effects. It does not make the game look nicer!!
I have wasted 1 hour out of my free 5 hours, just to get this game to look acceptable!!!!!
@rdalcroftThank you but those suggestions did not work.
I have heavy GHOSTING in the trees as I turn corners and some of the trees actually turn WHITE or have a WHITE haze in them.. coming over the crest of the hill towards the chicane at IMOLA the left side of the track has severe GHOSTING as well.
The screenshot shows the white trees..and the other one shows the "ghosting" in the trees.

<trees useLOD0="true" distanceScale="0.2" />
Try upping the distance scale try both 0.1 or 0.3 see if that helps
try setting it to false ( but I think this will make the game stutter as it will draw in all trees at full quality
but upping the numbers should tell the game to load in some more of the the trees in full detail, maybe stop the white trees from popping in- 3 years ago
Thanks for the suggestions, I did try them but they made no difference whatsoever.
The white "boxes" i see through the trees are buildings in the background on the other side of the track and also the poles holding up the lights.
I will just have to wait and see if this gets fixed in a patch as I am pretty sire this is game engine related and not a setting.
Thank you though!

I have ended up keeping post processing at high.
And settingthe AA to TAA with FidelityFX Sharpening.
The issue seems to be with all DLSS, FSR and Intel XeSS
This obviously takes a hit in performance, with raytracing set to on. But for now its much clearer, until they fix the Upscaling issue as all three upscaling methods introduce Blurring in the distance.
