Maybe UEFI 1.7 final will be more useful.

Also, 48GB of RAM is an unusual combination. I suggest using memory of the same brand, speed and density. This is more likely to mean a 32GB configuration will be more stable, or a 16GB possibly given whatever RAM you have, not visible from the dxdiag. You should aim to use A-XMP mode in UEFI config.

HWiNFO can provide such detail if you upload a report.

The not saving issue may be related but also Defender ControlledFolder Access is sometimes the issue
