[PC/Steam] PS5 Controller's Haptic / Force Feedback suddently stops working.

Product: F1 23
Platform:Steam-PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug The Playstation 5 Controller's Haptic / Force Feedback suddently stops working and doesn't vibrate anymore after some minutes of play. either you pass on kerbs, steer or traction, it doesn't vibrate. i checked the settings in game and in steam and they are already set to MAX or tried to change them, nothing changes and i'm forced to restart the game to make it work again for some minutes more. I tested with a PS4 Controller too, but not only the feedback is weakier, the same bug occurs as well. in F1 2021 and F1 22 the PS5 Controller's feedback works perfectly
What is your 16 digit Report Code? VPBX-MDMJ-SMHE-HXSE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? TIM
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play with the controller either in Single Player and Multiplayer, and you will see that the bug will occur after around 30 minutes, it happens often during Races and i'm forced to restart the game for making it work again.
What happens when the bug occurs? The vibration just stops working on my PS5 Controller, and for making it work again i'm forced to restart the game
What do you expect to see? i expect the ps5 controller's haptic / force feedback to work how it should be just like F1 2021 or F1 22. it should vibrate when i pass on kerbs, steer and while traction.

I just can't play this game like this, i can't either do leagues like this. I've already seen on bug list "Other various force feedback issues" but i don't know if that refers to controller's too.

Otherwise EA, please fix this... it's unplayable..

  • @EA_rephiiwill this ever be reported? game with controller right now it's unplayable, Force Feedback just stops working or it just cuts often and it is inconsistent.

Try reducing FFB.  Anything over 120% will definitely cause FFB to drop out.  Not sure about PC but I have no issues using dual sense on PS5.  I set FFB at 70%.

@ScarDuck14 This is a PC specific issue, no FFB settings will solve it as the implementation is broken and has been so since the release of F1 22.

@dotazured Ok cool wasn’t sure if it maybe a dual sense issue. As they don’t enjoy prolonged use with high FFB and strong Triggers. I have 3 pads and I rotate them every hour. Noticeable difference.

    @ScarDuck14so far i tried 3 controllers
My own PS5 controller and my brother's one, both have the same problem. So i assume that isn't controller's related problem.
Tried the PS4 one but it has a very weak FFB even with everything set to MAX, almost non existent.
Tried everything, updating firmware, reinstalling drivers, connected it as wireless instead wired, nothing, issue is still there.
I ordered an Xbox Series X controller and it should arrive next Monday, i'll let you know how it will behave.

UPDATE: Tried Xbox controller and it behave just like PS4. Weak FFB even if it is set to MAX. and it cuts sometimes, unplayable.
