Summarize your bug As title says, Steam suddendly doesn't support Playstation controllers (Both PS5 and PS4) The main problem is that it turns them into Xbox controller and worse thing is that my Force Feedback doesn't work after it enables this setting and the rest of my controller settings are literally messed up, i can't play the game anymore until this gets fixed. I don't know if this is caused by Steam or F1
What is your 16 digit Report Code? N/A
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? TIM
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When you try to launch the game on Steam, a Window appears saying that the PS5 Dualsense controller is not supported for the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Steam does not recognize Playstation controllers and all the settings are messed up.
What do you expect to see? I expect Steam recognizing my Playstation controllers to be supported as before and as i said i don't know if this is caused by Steam or F1.
I just can't play the game anymore after this issue.
This would be a Steam controller issue AFAIK, it is not recommended to set the controller as a Steam controller. Sorry I don't have the Playstation controllers to test with and I will post screens from my PC about the settings.
They are supported in game (supported list).
@SteveJacksonI didn't set my PS5 controller as Steam's controller, before the update i left it how it always was.
I asked to some friends to do some attempts and they get the same problem.
And in-game it's not supported anymore, whenever i attempt to connect it either wireless or wired, in the settings the game says "Controller not supported"
I can't play the game anymore.
EDIT: After jumping on steam reddits and various discords, apparently the problem is after the steam update, and it is affecting most of the games on steam for who tries to play with a Playstation controller, i don't know if EA can do something about it or let them reach steam about the issue, i'm forced to skip all my league races because of this issue.

Okay, thanks for that.
Literally only had time to install said update late last night and no playtime.

- ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@SteveJackson I have no idea. All 4 of my dualsense pads work. But I’m on PS5 and the last pad update from Sony was well over a month ago. So I’m guessing it’s steam
