What you say still doesn't make sense. If you want to save performance, you can reduce the details in the graphics menu, disable ray tracing or whatever. But you don't censor a screen format as a developer in the age of RTX 4090. Without ray tracing, even an RTX 4080 still manages over 200FPS in 4K. With ray tracing, it is still just under 140 FPS in 4K.
what? on the track i have no performance issue in the game.. (RTX 4090 with all in ultra and full raytracing). 120fps is enough for a smooth driving experience. I only have the stutters in the replay (by the way also with 120fps and very good latency) and hence my fear that we don't have an ultra wide here. Comparisons with older F1 games or other older Sims (eg. ACC, AMS2, etc.) don't really make sense.

If you have performance problems in the replays, your problems are probably in the CPU limit, but not in the GPU limit, because the replays are reconstructed by the CPU. This can be seen by the fact that you have enough frames and the replays still stutter. So this topic has nothing to do with the topic "Ultrawide". It's also not just the replays that don't have Ultrawide support, the rewind function is affected as well. Both of these things completely take Ultrawide users out of the immersion. It's so sad because the developers could fix this bug by changing some parameters in a few minutes, but that still hasn't happened several months after the release.

Nope, CPU Performance is good. (I9 13900KS)
My Equipment is really highend.
There must be a reason why they don't make the replay available in ultra wide. just forgot to implement it i can't believe it. And yes I miss the 32:9 replays too. but because of my IT job, I know that it's not always as easy as it looks.

If IT is their area of expertise, they should know that they are NOT in the graphics limit with 120 FPS!!!! For me it is also incomprehensible that they exclude missing optimizations, a bug and lack of polish as a reason. Look at the patch list and the problems of the users here in the forum. I always sympathize with developers and I support many Early Access products. Accordingly, I also have understanding for complications that arise during development. The countless problems of the users here in the forum, however, show me that EA have once again released a game completely prematurely, in which numerous basics do not work, which should actually be ready in a full price title. And that's what I have a problem with! While I have understanding for the problems of development teams, I feel as a customer conversely no longer valued.

Real unfortunate to see a longer thread about this and it still not being fixed.
It's also pretty apparent that some scenes are being cut off/black barred on purpose, as scenes in Brakepoint of your principal sometimes play in 21:9 and sometimes in 16:9.
Fingers crossed this gets fixed sooner than later, it's 2023. Do better.
