Q1 Already showing the biggest issue with the improved handling. Top 15 within 2tenths.
Hmm Ronhaar only in 14th…. Grip packs mustn’t be available yet 😂 😇. I dare say he’ll make me look silly and end up on pole. 😁
@ScarDuck14 in F1 22 was not that different, few tenths all the time among the very best, they are used to get/lose pole for thousands
About Ronhaar I saw he was able to make 1:18.1 in Monza (Time Trial) with the default setup! Simply impressive. Unless the mod is already available under the hood, his ability is not in dispute.
Well, then you can't never know if a (already fast) esport guy use cheats or not, like doping in athletics or cycling...
3seconds from real times there is already something wrong or they already use cheats or something is wrong in the game .... ok not simulation but not even very far from reality
Although I did get same time at Brands hatch Indy circuit in real life as I did using same car in NFS Shift 😂. 58 seconds I think it was: Audi RS4. But it’s only the First corner that’s terrifying.
I always remember an episode of Top Gear. Clarkson did a lap at Laguna seca in a Honda NSX on Gran Turismo. Then tried to match it on real life. Didn’t get anywhere close. Said something like he could have got closer but didn’t want to die.

@Nellix82Forget the lap times. Just enjoy the driving feeling.
Yes is too fast, yes there are things that could have been balanced in a different way, but the important is that the handling and FFB feel right and very good. Just enjoy that.
There is nothing wrong, is just a little too fast, like every other SIM out there, including iRacing.
Hi, David. Hope you're doing well.
My little question is why the cars are much faster now than say they were in the preview build.
Here's Ronhaar's FL at Silverstone with 1.26.0 while now the top TT time is 1.24.7.
As F1 is a super geek sport and F1 teams have some off the best super geek tech guys money can buy on their team. Would each team maybe get a couple off the techs to rip the game apart looking for any setting or glitch that would give their sim racers an advantage.
They leave nothing to chance in pursuit of finding hundredths off a second for their actual F1 cars. I think that obsessive attention to detail would also be the same for E-Sports. And considering just a few tenths cover all 20 drivers finding the meta setup could be the difference between a win and last place.
