Same issue here, I found I have to turn off ERS on my outlap to ensure I have enough for the actual lap. Other tracks don't have this "problem"

  • @Nylink Having to turn off ERS on outlap is normal, I do that standard at all tracks Q, they do it IRL too. You turn it to overtake when you turn on the straight. Just watch onboards, you’ll see when they cross the line, they instantly turn it to “charge”

@Iceman038-NL yeah, I figured that is what it should be. However, this game doesn't play it that way if you warp to start your lap. On all other tracks, if you just warp to start your quick lap, you have ERS to spare. With Qatar, you don't so there's an inconsistency there.
  • @Nylink Ers in real life and in game are pretty spot on design. In qualy you are able to deploy energy the most efficient. Just turn to hotlap when you go to 5 or 6 gear, so you benefit the most on Qatar. I can go around and make it 100% all the way around. But i always turn it off when exiting the pits in outlap. After 1 qualy lap my battery is done, never enough to get another in since at 10% the ers is pretty useless

@Iceman038-NLI think you may be slightly misunderstanding the issue, so try this experiment. Do a qualy on a regular track, but warp to start your hotlap instead of driving a outlap. Now do the same thing on Qatar, and you'll see that you'll run out before you finish the hotlap. That's the issue that happens with Qatar only in this game.
