Race classification changing

Question

So I just had the Monaco GP in career mode, 50% race, 39 laps, 4 safety cars, 2 red flags, changing from dry to wet with 5 laps to go.. crossed the line 1st, but for some reason (no time penalties) the classification completely changed as the chequered flag was waved. It should have been Me, Alonso, Norris, Bottas. It finished Hamilton, Norris, Bottas, I ended up 4th, Alonso ended up 8th. I went back using the race replay to see the car order as I approached the finish line. No driver, me or AI had time penalties. Pretty annoying.

Second time it's happened to me, first time was in Baku, crossed the line 1st, classified 2nd with no time penalties. Also in the rain.

That's because of the red flag bug. When a red flag is out, no matter what happens during the race, the final classification will always be the one before the red flag came out. So I would advise you to play without red flags till they patch it out.

@svensen86Anything shown on game trailers or articles before release needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt, because anything that sounded good will directly boost pre-order numbers, doesn't matter if those things will actually be in the final product or not.

First f1 game where that happened. But main reason was because of no new graphic engine. Well i wait for a sale offer this year.
