Race replay HUD - why was it changed?

I noticed there was a different HUD for race replays at the time content creators were allowed to upload their videos. That HUD looked so much better and more detailed and just easier to read (especially the times and gaps of the drivers). Now that the game has come out this ideal and slick HUD is gone and replaced by a HUD that has no distance inbetween the lines of the interval gaps and is just too narrow. Any chance we can go back to this old HUD?
