have already answered in the other thread - copy it here - the same here - has become even worse after the last patch (or since last patch) I´m on Fanatec Clubsport V3 - new drivers, new firmware - elsewhere it works flawlessly - have tried everything - the light braking / typing in fast curves thereby not possible - stronger on it - block the brakes (and please no advice about "trailbraking" I have mastered for years) - the pedals simply do not react properly (only with F1 23) !!!
You can see it clearly in the button test - in the fanatec control panel I can see the deflection for a long time and in the F1 23 no recation !!! I have already tried all settings, also in the fanatec control panel ! I'm glad that others have the same problem - I thought that I had forgotten how to brake after a day's break - I also lost my configured control settings - at first I thought that it was a wrong setting...ok I noticed something - if you select the standard fanatec usb pedals in the game and do the key test there, the pedals seem to work normally - but as soon as you create your own controls (you have to, because you can't overwrite the standard settings) it's over - pedals react as described above ! you also cannot assign the pedals so that they are only used for accelerator and brake because F1 23 then writes "left" "right" etc. not assigned - but if you do that you have to save it as your own control scheme and thus it does not work again - come on EA please - there is a better way to solve this!
EDIT EDIT:
ok - but if you copy the fanatec pedals default profile and then adjust the controls there (steering wheel, button assignment, FF and settings etc.) - it seems to work !!!

Hey folks,
the team had a look at this and found the brake pedal input to be working as excepted.
This might be more of an issue with the settings resetting and therefore you might need to readjust some controls.-Vendcera
I must apologise for disagreeing - but as soon as you create your own control scheme the dead zones are no longer correct and you can try to adjust everything but it does NOT work - I will try to recreate it using the screenshots. with "default pedals settings" it seems to work - but as soon as you change something or adjust the controls the dead zones are no longer correct !
now with screenshots
standard profiles from the game and my own controller profile, on the left you can see the fanatec control panel to compare the pedal pressure
now the standard profile selected for the pedals - key test ! the pedal pressure matches 1:1 !
own control profile - key test !
you can clearly see that I am on 50% brake in the fanatec control panel (and on the brake) and nothing is moving in the game !
it would be no problem to use the default profiles - but I want to have my clutch e.g. on the steering wheel (second paddles) - and as soon as I change something in the default profile, I can only save it under my "own control scheme" and then the "game" starts all over again, controller deadzones are not correct ! I hope that it is now clear what is meant.
all other calibration settings and FF settings are identical in this comparison - so the settings cannot be assumed to be an error!the next test is then in the game (default profile) - if I roll slowly with the car and tap the brake lightly, the car slows down !
own profile - the car rolls on without braking!it could be that it is somehow due to my system - but where should I look for the error now when everything works normally in ACC, AC, iRacing, rFactor2, etc. and the phenomenon only exists in F1 23 (and this since the update, since my own control profiles have been deleted) !!!
short addition - it only seems to affect the "load cell" pedals (at least for me) - because if I configure the clutch pedal as a brake pedal (for test purposes) the dead zone is correct again !

Hi @Arniex78,
thanks for the further detailed info! The team is taking another look at what's happening here.
