@Cpayne32I’m telling you. The dev team must have from the start identified that career mode is what the players want. But not the normal half baked career progression all racing games have. But. Something where off track decisions have consequences on track. But also they are aware in Rally like F1 the players love the classic cars. So to mix up career so you’re not just racing one car. And not just giving the player silly shoehorned events. But invational events that are full on rally competition in classic cars. Which as racing in a legendary car and winning helps raise the profile off you and team. You’re kinda directed to do them as it would make the benefactor happy and as he pays the bills. It’s good to keep him happy. But you can choose to do something different like spend a week for your mechanic team to train up or something.

Also full damage model. I have had cars with no doors left on by end off some stages… But I’m sure if I had critical damage enabled I wouldn’t have been able to finish. End off stage you get a damage report. One I had destroyed my exhaust and smashed headlights and seriously overheated engine. In down time between stages you can repair every part of car. But limited by time so have to choose what to repair

Oh in car setup options when changing camber you get a proper description and a animation off the wheels angle change as you adjust camber 

@Cpayne32Just to give it a reasonable perspective, WRC has been developed solely for current gen consoles, no PS4/XBone. Probably allowed developers far more time to focus on a good game. As it's a "new" franchise with a lower fan base, EA can do this as it's probably not financially viable with doing it for last gen. F1 is another matter...

Yeah. For me F1 23 focused on all the wrong areas. F1 World got too boring and repetitive that i stopped playing very quickly. Ranked was chaotic and career modes has nothing new to want me to play long term

@ScarDuck14    you got me hooked, pal 😉 It is something I'd expect in F1 games, too. Maybe I start to like rally much more 😉

Well, I think they (EA/CM) should do that, @TotosHeadphones . Skipping a year could give them time to finally rebuild the game and avoid all mistakes piled up over years. And start to focus on what gamers want, not just how to make money out of useless nonsense.

Just watched Trevor's intro and I love it already 😉
But I give it more time to see all the others as well.

UPDATE: Overtake_gg also pointed out few issues but I am not rattled enough, it still seems pretty good. However, Rally Pass is a must, I guess, being it an EA game.

And customisation is nice, especially the livery (although it reminds NFS a little 😉) But still better than nothing at all.

The AlphaTauri is indeed a much improved car of late. But that is very much down to Ricciardo having taken the team in a completely different set up direction.

He!s living with a much livelier rear than the previous drivers had felt comfortable with.

Well that was an anticlimactic end to qualifying. Strange to see Aston Martin finding so much pace. But Sergio starting 9th is not good for his championship fight with Lewis

Interlagos has always been one of my all time favourite tracks.   Not only to watch F1 but to race on in every F1 game since OG Grand Prix
