Re: Brightness adjustment Xbox

@LunchBoxGimp Turn off HDR and you can adjust it. However gamma doesn’t work when HDR is on. As longs your peak nit is right on your console screen settings your good to go

  • @ScarDuck14 I’ll take a look but I don’t believe that’s the case. Even with HDR set correctly in console settings, the brightness adjustment does affect HDR, and is locked. But thanks for the suggestion I’ll take a look. But my console settings are definitely correct, this is the only game I own that doesn’t appear correctly for brightness, and colour. I have a professionally calibrated LG 77” C1. But again thanks, I’ll see if I can adjust the in game settings as you suggested.

@LunchBoxGimpThere’s been HDR brightness issues with game.

Turn off HDR In graphics settings.  Then adjust gamma.  When you turn HDR back on the brightness will change back

  • @ScarDuck14 Okay so, I had to turn off HDR in console settings to be able to readjust the brightness setting in game. Then re-enable it again in console settings and all is good again. Shouldn’t be this way. Should just be able to adjust it or adds gamma slider in game.

Thank you for the suggestion as it did work.

Shouldn’t have to have a work around though.

    Thanks again.

@LunchBoxGimp All good. Glad you sorted it. Why it’s the way it is I do not know.. Well above my non existent pay grade 👍
