Re: Can progress transfer between EA App and Steam?

it should transfer because you need to use youre ea account to log into the game from steam anyway

@Killergamer0658So do I need to have the EA App running as well as steam every time I play the game? Seems annoying having to start both programs every time

@FG44141 No, EA App is not a requirement for the Steam version, and it is my understanding that the progress is separate between the EA and Steam versions of the game as the save location of the files is different.
  • pitcoins and other purchases should remain because i think theyre linked to the ea email but you could just set the install location on steam to the same place the ea one is saved

@Killergamer0658 DLCs and micro transactions are platform dependent, so I wouldn't be surprised if these didn't show up in the Steam version if purchased via EA App or vice versa.

So I just tried it and progress does NOT carry over what a joke.

Even tried moving the save files around from EA to steam and they just say 'corrupted' as they cannot read each others save. Both are on PC so they should have been allowed to work but it seems they are locking it out.

The worst part is the game recognises my EA account name on the super licence but does not carry any of my progress or items over, yet BF 2042 an EA game does this no problem

I guess thats why the team have been silent on this topic despite my many questions to them
