Not tried this mode. Have you tried toggling the assist settings from expert when not in the game mode but in the master settings screen?
The master settings (from the home screen) do not have the simulation settings. The simulation settings only appear when I enter one of the game modes. But yes, I use expert mode.

Yes I realise that. I think others have maybe had success in toggling that at the higher level to possibly “unlock” the settings in the mode you are using.
The settings were either changed by an update or did not appear changed but were in fact restricted because although the did not appear changed they were and toggling them did in fact actually set them correctly.
