In that case, we demand an option for a refund, as you advertised and had this feature on the game, just to get rid of it. And a form of compensation would make sense.

I also own F1 23 on the PC.  The buttons all work, but the rev lights don't.  I don't understand that.

Hey Guys, do you also still have this weird sound in the wheelbase while driving in F1 23? I am not able to play this game since a week after release. Are you discussing about the same problem or only the losing of force feedback?

It's a shame that we have to wait for helpful patches more than two months

Is there any plan to find a solution for PC users. I have been playing F1 since the beginning and what I read right now is that your are not supporting this anymore...  is this true? I just bought F1 23 in hope to find it working properly and what I read frustrate me.

I tried everything I read in forums everywhere on the web and nothing works like before: no force feedback or vibration at all.

Please, I beg you, reconsider this. I am not alone with this issue.

I just got a DM from @EA_Groguet saying that rolling back the Logitech stuff to how it was before the 1.08 patch also won't be possible!

So they've abandoned any attempts to get TrueForce working, and they're also claiming they won't be able to revert it back to how it was before the patch (where FFB worked okay, for me at least).

If you're a Logitech wheel user I would demand a refund because it looks like they're not going to do anything about it! Or if you're a Logitech wheel user who's still thinking about whether or not to buy the game, DON'T DO IT!!!

@EA_Groguet:  What are our options regarding a refund if we're outside the Steam refund window?  Is there anything EA can do directly?

It's not only on Logitech wheels that the FFB no longer works, on Trustmaster wheels as well, and this has been happening for 2 months, the admins/developers seem to be completely unaware of the problem.

EA just killed the game, and if you ask me there won't be as many customers for the next F1. I preferred the days of Codemaster where they fixed the problems after 2 weeks, EA doesn't care.

80 balls or people can't play and the problems are ignored, It's almost theft.

How illogical is this. I asked for a refund but since I waited more than 24 hours after the purchase, I am not eligible.

It took me close to a week to troubleshoot this just to find out that EA will do nothing to patch the game. And now, I am not eligible for a refund. After I followed exactly what they tell us to do on their support page.

Completely ridiculous!

How is this still an issue. Zero rev lights, still massive grinding and ffb issues. Day 1 out of the box I was having a great experience nothing was wrong. Months in the game is patched and my ability to play at all was ruined for several weeks. I think at to is point my wheel is even damaged from the ffb issues. Pretty unreal….please fix the rev light and restore the wheel to an earlier patch.

For those on console who are particularly missing having the extra wheel buttons that come with having TrueForce enabled (I usually map them to adjust brake balance, adjust differential, UDP actions etc.) one thing I've done is to buy a USB macro keyboard online. They seem to come in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 & 9 key configurations and funnily enough can be used as replacement buttons so long as you program them to be keys not already "in use" by the game.

I bought just a small 2-key keyboard for the UDP actions I missed having and mounted it to the side of my wheelbase - pic attached if you're interested!

Ridiculous I had to do this in the first place, but better than nothing!

So disappointing, they literally jerked us around for 6 months.. smoke and mirrors. Only way I was able to play was by coming up with a fix by myself that helped more than 20 people that I know of that reached out to me to say, "thank you". Maybe I should have gotten a paycheck from EA... since I did the job for them. I'm a developer now.. but seriously, I hope they learn from this and actually listen to the customers. For next years game that is. Since well.. they can't for this... so crazy they literally have every single commercial or ad with game play showing people suing logitech wheels.. wheels that don't even work like they should.. like they advertised... 

Does it have at least a temporary solution? Im on ps4 and I have no ffb it juste a reentering of the wheel. My brother have a g29 and can feel everything and I juste have a reentering of the wheel. Is it only me? because on f1 22 everything works fine. but on f1 23 nothing really accurate. Is there a way to ignore true force to just have normal ffb?

Logitech changed the basic G29 to make an XB version (G920)

Logitech made the G923 which replaced the older models and can be bought in either variant (XB/PS)

It's always a joint effort - Logitech get IHV builds of F1 games prior to release. They build the SDK and release the driver for PC.

If CM can't get a feature to work it's not always because of their devs. Logitech aren't exactly heavily resourced in this area both now and historically. But blame EA, it's easy.

The Trueforce implementation was reverted to code without it, because the implementation didn't work. F1 2021, F1 22 and F1 23 have never been on the support list officially.
