Re: F1 23 wont connect to EA servers after newest update

Why is it when someone complains about connecting to your sever, that it's always on their end. Will you guys ever come clean if it's on your end? I don't have faith that I'd get the truth with that question. But, having no issues connecting on other games leaves me no reason but to believe it's on your end. My internet is more than fine. I hardwire right into my pc, and my internet isn't down. Why am I always having troubles with your severs? This game wastes my time, more times than not. Never have I played such a broken F1 game, starting to make me think all you guys are doing is cashing in on people like myself purchasing the new game year after year. I would love a honest reply, rather than sending me to a link of possible problems as to why I connected no problem. Do a hour race, and get absolutely no rewards for that, because after the race like tht, the last thing you want to see is sever issues.

  • Same here. I have good internet connection. The router is close to my PS5, All my other games work ok with the internet but I can't connect to any multiplayer server on the F1 23 that I just bought a few days ago.

    Please fix that issue!

Because it is your issue. It's obviously not everyone. And you should know Windows is horrible with respect to your internet service and "detecting" whether it is up or down.

Not saying that the game is error free, obviously. But if the server is fine with others, and reports it is up then it's some intermediary factor. No amount of searching on the EA end will fix a problem with something like PlayFab which is an Azure service.

So, I'm not shifting blame, but as far as it goes EA is a paying customer for that service and might be getting poor service for that (or how it links into the various platforms like PSN/XBL/Steam/EA) it only takes one issue and the end result is the same. You get no connectivity and blame EA. So many links in the chain.

It's possibly manifold where each individual user may have an issue. So please, check, double check and triple check then be prepared to accept that it may be "something other".

Please continue to report. I appreciate your frustration. But maybe I'm just lucky that I don't (or rarely) have any issues, just the widespread ones that are attributable to "something other".
