Re: Game crashing every 2 minutes (PS5 trial)

@Toss_The_Caber Booting console from rest mode is know to cause game crashes with some games. Try going to power saving. Select never put in rest mode. Disable rest mode features such as stay connected to internet and download and install. Turn off PS5. Boot in safe mode. Rebuild database. Once console restarts. Start game. Only suggestion I’ve got. I’m on PS5 havnt had a crash since beta

    @Toss_The_Caber Random question, do you have a wheel connected? If so, can I get you to try removing it and booting the game with the controller instead. (Method to my madness I promise)

    @CM_RedDevil I do in fact have a wheel connected yes, however I've just given it a try twice round with the controller and it's not changed anything, crashes at the mid race Miami cutscene in breaking point or when I hit replay/flashback, if I'm lucky enough to get that far. Can get no further.

    @Toss_The_Caber How strange... Are you running in Performance or Quality mode? HDR? If performance, can you try quality or vice versa and without HDR if you have that enabled? If your wheel is still connected, completely disconnect it. If none of those work, as has been mentioned above, try rebuilding the database on the console.

    Might also be worth trying to PS4 version of the game if you have that available.

    @CM_RedDevil Thanks, tried everything you've mentioned already and nothing has worked, however I tried it on my PS4 and that worked fine. Not sure what's wrong with the ps5

    did you find a solution to your problem? I had something similar and had to send my PS5 to the service for a repair

    I will be getting my PS5 back soon, I will post an update if that solved the issue

    got a replayement PS5 back from the service today and tested it extensively. Works fine and the issue seems to be solved
