It worked for me also.  It was like pulling teeth, took me 2 hours and I still haven't gone through all the modes, but I tested it in Time Trial, and there was the 'Notification' 'Exceeded Track Limits' as soon as I infringed. "Bloomin' Marvelous".  I have driven for a year with no OSD and I just unhid everything, it's gonna take me 3 weeks to turn off all the stuff I don't want. I hope Killergamer0658 can also enjoy the solution.  I did it all on my keyboard with my HUD on the top of my skull, I found it easier than doing it in VR.

Definitely clunky, last year the Time Trials did the 'Notification' without needing to be unhid. I have no concept of how hard it is to build a game like this one, but I am sure glad I now have the choice to hide/unhide.  My level of satisfaction for F123 has definitely gone up!

Yes, not being able to navigate the menus without the headset on is definitely another annoyance. I often sit my Rift S on my bent knee when I'm doing more than a few clicks in the menu (and especially OSD edits) as it's a lot easier to see the details on the monitor.

Does anyone from EA monitor these threads? If so, can you please:

1. Allow the menu to be navigated without the VR headset on
2. Simplify the OSD edit UX e.g.
   
   1. It's great the main "On-screen Display" menu has options for "Track Map" and "Delta Time" but these don't do anything with VR, they should. There should also be an option for "System Messages" with the description mentioning that these include Lap time invalidated messages.
   2. Have a Fn key that can hide/unhide an OSD element with single button press so you don't need to highlight it, hit enter, right arrow, Esc, Enter (it's very slow and cumbersome).
   3. Default the OSD session mode to be the session type you're currently in rather than always "Race" i.e. if I'm doing a Time Trial, default the OSD configuration to be for Time Trial, not Race.
   4. OSD Customisation is disabled when you go into the main settings (when you're not in the car). It should always be enabled so you can configure all of this up front.

I still haven't been able to enable the type pressures widget but will have another look next time I'm playing.

That's what tricked me all last year, I clicked all the bottons on the main "OSD" for Track Map, Rear Vision, Virtual Mirror, everything, but none of it was there, it should be 'Unhid' from the very start. I just thought they were working on it.

I think they would monitor "Game Suggestions" more, maybe.
