Hey everyone,
Unfortunately, the time trials for wet conditions have been removed from the game in F1®23.
We'll continue to monitor feedback on this, but for now there won't be a wet Time Trial mode available.-rephii
- zombie1822 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_rephii that's a real shame, even if it was too hard for many, for some it's still very important
- A_Zombie12232 years agoSeasoned Rookie@EA_reph as a visually impaired gamer, I use Time Trial with wet options to practice without having to worry about other cars on the track. Yes there is the race option but I'd much rather use TT because it's easier for me.
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_rephii What is the reasoning behind removing a feature like this? It was present in last years game.
How are we supposed to practice wet conditions now?
This feels like yet another sign of mismanagement. - BadMayh3m2 years agoSeasoned Ace
Got to be honest Im happy its gone....one less mode people can cheat on!
Also would like to see in Dry TT the ability to copy setups be gone.
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@BadMayh3m Or they could just implement an anti-cheat instead of removing vital features and hollowing out the experience?
In what game mode do you mean someone should use if they want to test and make setups and practice in wet conditions now? - BadMayh3m2 years agoSeasoned Ace@dotazured Thought that was what practice programs are for.
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@BadMayh3m That assumes that you play career mode or similar, even then, there's no way of controlling the weather. What about setups for multiplayer etc?

So let me get this straight: A key feature of this franchise that players have always used (where else can you properly test wet setups?!?) gets removed, but something like "F1 World" gets added? I've given F1 World a chance, but after only 2 weeks, I see no replay value/longterm motivation. It's always the same nonsense (and I don't even look at all the items we get - I don't have time for that) and feels more like some pointless smartphone app for people to pass the time while they're on a train or waiting at the doctor's or something.
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@EyTschej Not only that, they are removing a feature that essentially could be copy-paste from last years game.
If they are unable to do that it's just a sign of mismanagement or incompetence. Removing a feature like this makes absolutely zero sense in the first place. It requires no real effort.

Why? How can we quick test what’s the best car setup in the wet?
- dotazured2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Fisherwilco The short version is, we can't.
I created a suggestion thread for this, and hopefully EA/Codies will realize that it is a feature we do care about: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Suggestions/Re-add-wet-conditions-to-time-trials/m-p/12692919/highlight/true#M313 , any interest we show in this thread is just getting buried as it is marked as "solved". - HashbrownRolo2 years agoNew Vanguard@EA_rephii Hello! Please add me to the list of people that miss wet time trials. They were great for working on wet quali setups and building low-grip control.
