It has absolutely nothing to do with set up or driving style or technique. This is a fundamental issue in the game and needs to be resolved.

It is prevalent when using a controller with automatic gearbox and full TC in the slowest of corners when trying to achieve traction on the exit.

I have been playing these games for many years and without any doubt this is an issue that needs to be resolved.

    Try Baku in this configuration.

@IanM282Dont get me wrong but all i can get when trying automatic gearbox with full TC (around Baku), the hardest tyre and a far more oversteery setup than id ever use is some drifitng while stomping it immediately after the apex with full steering lock.. Its not even an instant spin just slowly the rear coming slightly around and depending on how i react its quickly caught.. if it behaves the same on Codemasters end i can understand why they dont find anything to fix

@Meza994 Thanks for your findings. However the characteristics of the very loose rear end regarding traction are not in line to any other iteration of the game. The whole point of using full TC is to completely remove any rear wheel spin. This is not the case in this years game. You end up loosing a lot of time in pure traction. How can that be with full TC on?

@IanM282 Well if i have to force the rear end to slip with anything possibly and a more stable setup and not as aggressive throttle input will be no problem - not much time loss - then its not neccessarily a bad mechanic.. @ScarDuck14 for example complained last year about full TC (or medium TC not entirely sure anymore) leaving not a single chance to slip up making it boring and way too much on rails, its impossible to balance things such as this to everyones liking :/

@Meza994 Yes but when the dynamic has completely changed from previous years then you can understand why people are raising this issue. Full TC means full TC. There has been no rear slip before so why now?

Another point to mention why does it not do this in wet conditions? You would think it would be even worse, but it actually doesn’t even exist in the wet. So clearly an issue that needs looking at in dry weather conditions.

@IanM282 What I also find very interesting is that it works normally in the F1 world with the f1 world car.
Definitely a bug in career and time trial mode.

@LordPhoenix-TH66  I play both, I’m about 4 races away from completing a two player career game in F122 with a friend. We also done F1 21 as well. But got the new game on the day of release and have just been getting used to the new handling model. Once the two player career "ridiculous" tyre strategy bug (after sprint races) has been resolved we will move on to another full two player career in F123.

@LordPhoenix-TH66 So......it needs to be adjusted in F1 World too?

They have basically said this is the way it (FTC) is supposed to work.
From everyone's statements FTC has been nerfed.

They probably just haven't gotten to F1 World yet cause they're busy putting out the fires and no one has complained so far.

Honestly I found funny and confusing the guy that doesn't use TC and complain about this problem.

If you don't have TC it should slide a slow speed if you accelerates too abruptly not sure exactly what is the problem

@LordPhoenix-TH66 If FTC has not been nerfed in the F1 World cars it will be.
FTC per say is not what's been nerfed there was a 2nd broken mechanic that was probably removed. The FTC cars had an added bonus in that the cars no longer drag on the ground and FTC wasnt supposed to do that so probably removed but to be honest I haven't tested it again since I found it and suggested they looked at it.
  • @pekish79 Seriously? Wait a second I'll clear it up right away, so I use automatic gearbox because I found it to be very hard to play on controller with manual gearbox, and I have traction control off, traction control off ma man with automatic gearbox is terrible, do you understand? When I am in a low speed corner it doesn't matter how slow I press the gas, the car runs away from the back, lose traction when the car change up the gear, you understand? This is a problem, a very big problem, an automatic gearbox should be much smarter, when she feels that the car lose grip she should change the gear to maintain the grip, but she don't do this, this is the problem, the car feels like is on the ice, wtf man I have to explain to 183838 times to understand something, yawn your eyes
  • @pekish79 And this problem, cause a very high ture degradation on the back, and also most of the times I need to do a * replay because I either I hit a wall or I go out into the decor or I waste a lot of time and the cars in the back end up right because of this problem I said above
  • @pekish79 And this problem exist only in low speed corners, that's it, only in low speed corners, in high speed corners is super ok

@RaduStefan2001 In my opinion, this is the right time for you to learn to drive a manual transmission on a controller. It's not difficult at all just you have to be willing to spend 2-3 h to drive and you will benefit from it.
