VR is rendered at a lower resolution.
VR is a tacked-on mode that EA gave barely any thought to.
VR is a much better experience with literally any other VR-enabled racing game than F1 because of EA's apathy and incompetence.
Your best bet is to refund the game if VR is what you want. I recently dove into iRacing VR and it is remarkable compared to F1. It's like watching a movie on a 13" black and white TV (EA F1) versus going to a 25m tall IMAX cinema.
