Although I don’t play ranked, I think i understand where you’re coming from. So you and your “team mate” come in one after the other - and because they’re not your “team mate” you should be served at the same time rather than “stacked” - which also puts you at risk of having to wait for others to pass. So your cars are “ghosted” and then released?

Apologies. The first part. Me and my teammate come in one after the other. Him first, me second. I have to wait. I am stacked behind him. I have no way of knowing he is in the pit. The engineer does not tell you. Your not teammates anyway. Its ranked. Its a free 4 all

@domo_v2 Thanks for clarifying - I understand where you’re coming from.
Am just trying to think about my own experiences in MyTeam about what happens when two cars are released from their boxes close together - IIRC some ghosting happens and then the cars pit speed is adjusted as they move towards the pit lane exit line, so they form an order. The same thing could happen with your suggestion.
So realistically, what needs to change is 2 cars pitting in the same box without stacking. I think that would take a substantial re-write of the code, as the base mechanics of races are based on career. As you say, it’s probably not an easy fix, which is what I’m aiming for on this thread.
Both of your suggestions are good (this one especially as I’m sure a lot of players have this issue).
I would highly recommend creating suggestion posts for these 🖖🏽
