Summarize your bug In TT (not tried other modes for this issue), the menu soundtrack music plays when you’re in cockpit in the garage and then continues to play when you go to track. Track is COTA

Which area is the bug/glitch in? TT
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load up TT. Sit in cockpit, drive on track
What happens when the bug occurs? menu soundtrack music plays when you’re in cockpit in the garage and then continues to play when you go to track. Track is COTA
What do you expect to see? Music doesn’t play, environmental sounds are present. My current fix is to turn music level to 0 before going on track, but then this also removes it from playing in menu/ car setting menus

Not replicated on TT on PC. Will try Grand Prix mode practice, video if replicated.
Edit: Not replicated GP Mode, Multiplayer GP Mode, Local Multiplayer LAN mode. Drove to track in all practice sessions without soundtrack music and volume set to 10.

It’s probably only just effecting me on PS. Haven’t seen any other posts on it as I’m sure it would have been reported

It's not widely reported, but it's cross platform (PS and PC) which does suggest a game bug. The sound behaves oddly in my video it's kind of loud and echoed / muffled then goes silent.
But I can't replicate it the way you've both suggested.
Edit: Are you using two sound output devices? e.g. headphones and screen? I'm using only one, wired headphones on onboard audio.

@SteveJackson am using some turtle beach wireless headphones. I’ll check this weekend if it’s coming through if I switch audio to tv/soundbar.
I also should have said I’m using driver audio mix, not sure if that will have something to do with it. Will check if it appearing in other audio mix options
