I can play Flat version on G29 no issues, i can play the game using Oculus link in VR also no issues with G29.
But if launch the game using Virtual Desktop (Oculus link sucks for me) via steam my G29 does not work at all (as well as keyboard)
i was playing f122 and f123 (before big patch) no issues at all
I have been saying this for a month now mate, I have the Pico 4 and Virtual Desktop and I have no input from G29 or Keyboard. Mine has been like this since the patch before last, I guess EA like ignoring people.
So another patch and it is still not working in VR with Virtual Desktop, if you are too incompetent to fix this then at least give us the option to roll back to an update where it worked.

I've given up, I've had to play via Oculus Air link which is not as good as VD but at least it works.
