@iviepivie I'm really frustrated with the state of the game. I'm actually relieved that I haven't bought it yet, given how disappointed I am. It's unfortunate that EA continues to fall short. They had a whole year to develop this game, and this is what we get. It seems like EA knows they don't have to put in much effort because people will still buy their games.
I'm confused about you priorities when it comes to fixing bugs. The hori issue and force feedback problems should have been some of the first things the coding team addressed and fixed. Racing is all about driving an F1 car with a steering wheel, so it's essential that the game supports it and get it working. Releasing a game where some supported steering wheels don't work shows a significant problem with EA's prioritization. It's unacceptable to release a game when such a fundamental aspect of driving is broken. If an issue like this arises at launch, the team should dedicate maximum effort and all available resources to fix it quickly. Once the issue is resolved internally, an update should be released immediately to the community who paid 80£ for this game. I really hope EA addresses this problem right away instead of making us wait another month for a patch.
I don't want to blame the individual coding developers who are just following instructions. They're probably doing their best. Instead, my focus is on the team leaders who are responsible for overseeing this project and deciding where to allocate efforts. I still want to say that I understand that solving this problem won't take 2 days to solve. But this problem has been known for 3 weeks. Even in beta testing and nothing seems to happen. I am pretty sure this could have been solved today if the prioritizing would have been different.
@EA_rephii@EA_Barry@CM_RedDevilI apologize if my tone comes across as offensive. But this is a serious issue that needs to be fixed urgently. It's important to clarify that this problem is not related to a "hori firmware issue" or a simple "firmware update" problem. Let's find a solution.
Am I totally wrong guys? Or is their more people thinking like me?
