I have wasted pitcoin buying a number liveries where it looked like the colour of certain sections could be changed - but could not be, or the where the “location” of colour changes happened in different ways to what you might think (or not obvious) when looking at the livery design in store.
Given we (as consumers) can’t tell which sections of store items can be amended or not, or how colour changes might be applied, we can’t make informed purchases.
Please either reinstate the feature or do not let colours be changed for store items i.e. “sold as seen” (which won’t go down well).
The current state is unacceptable from a consumer point of view.

@EA_Lanna @EA_Groguet @EA_Vendcera another great example of this in store this week: the Zig Zag livery - colours cannot be changed, but look like they can. Only way you’ll find that out is to buy it (like I did 🤦🏽♂️).
Was the removal of this feature a ploy to farm pitcoin off users?
Please bring the colours preview feature back to avoid this issue.

Its the third time I’ve “chanced” buying items from store now and got burned.
This is one of those issues for me that is “the straw that breaks the camel’s back”. It’s such a simple thing to resolve and so frustrating.
It’s obviously something they’ve chosen to remove, but that decision doesn’t make sense from any way you might look at it.
Sure, some people might buy a few things because they look decent, but are ultimately disappointed because what could be changed didn’t line up with expectation and then become resentful (like me).
OR, like you, will avoid any purchases.
Either way they lose. Madness 🤷🏽♂️
