I competed an on line race with one of my clubs on a sunday evening and all was working well.On the monday evening I went on to do some practice on the same trace, same car, same setup and found that on acceleration from slow to mid speed corners the throttle input was not registering properly and the car was bogging down then it would just go to full power making it un-drivable.I contacted Fanatec and they suggested I fit a new throttle sensor which I did and this had no affect. Still un-drivable. I send the pedals back to Fanatec for investigation and they were returned as no fault found and were working perfectly.I then tried them on F1 2021 and everything work perfectly. On F1 23 it is still not working. I Purchased F1 23 for my PC and tried it on there and everything worked perfectly. This is only on F1 23 where the fault lies.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no improvementAs I am not able to race in any of my online leagues I am more than a little frustrated. Can someone help me sort this as soon as possible pleaseRegardsSteve Hancock
Please post details of the pedals and wheelbase.
If they are all Fanatec, you should download the latest driver which when connected to a PC will allow you to check and update the firmware (rims, wheelbase, wheelbase motor, pedals, shifters, etc.). Returning the pedals alone, it's probable Fanatec (should) have done this as they must be USB connected to be updated (unless they are plug and play). However, this doesn't describe your situation and how the pedals are connected can be important as well as the actual wheelbase. It doesn't sound like the rest of your equipment was returned either.
This is important for console users and is manufacturer advice, not just given here for the F1 titles.
Updating the firmware should not affect other titles retrospectively, but it's probable newer titles expect the latest firmwares and or features in newer games support the additional changes to the manufacturer ecosystem.
Additional to this there has been a recent update to the XBox System software that has been reported to have solved some issues with the Thrustmaster FFB and the XBox consoles.
Can't verify due to not having the hardware myself but feedback on specifics is always useful.
Your threads have been merged as throttle issues.
Thanks for your answer.
All Fanatec products and all totally updated with latest firmware.
This has made no difference. As I
it works fine on F1 2021 and Pc F1 23 this shows the equipment is working as it should.

@SteveJacksonFanatec DD1, Clubsport wheel v2.5 and clubsport v3 pedals
Please check firmware, driver 451 (May 17 2023)
From there I suggest deleting any custom profiles and recreating. Patch 1.13 is out and any changes you make to the settings should be retained in future.
If you can post video of the operation in F1 2021 and F1 23 then that would be helpful.
Cheers Steve, I have now fixed the issue by reactivating my Xbox. This allows you to retain the games and data already loaded but starts the installation of the Xbox as if it is the first time.
Just follow the normal setup menus and everything loads back on.
Having done that I tried out F1 23 and all was working perfectly.
Thank you very much for all your help and suggestions. Much appreciated.
