Thrustmaster wheels with proper firmware experiencing FFB disconnects.

Product: F1 23
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox One
Summarize your bug Thrustmaster T128 FFB Disconnects after probably about an hour or so of use on firmware V5.03
What is your 16 digit Report Code? Unavailable at the time of posting
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Comcast Xfinity
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a Thrustmaster T128 or similar steering wheel for an extended period of time.
What happens when the bug occurs? Force Feedback completely goes away. No centering, vibration or force.
What do you expect to see? Force Feedback remains intact and unchanged through multiple hours of gameplay.

I updated the wheel to firmware 5.03 yesterday to run the wheel properly with the game. Feedback is functioning as it should but after some time (about an hour or so) gets slightly lighter for a few seconds and completely disconnects. Steering and throttle input remains and force, vibration and centering does not occur.

@Scooteria6282Open again the T128 Control Panel and double-check that the firmware version is V5.03 (and not V5.00) as show here: https://ts.thrustmaster.com/download/pictures/PCMAC/T128/T128X_CPL_FW5_03.png

It's important because lot of guys only install the new driver package and forget that after this they must absolutely launch the other software: THRUSTMASTER FIRMWARE UPDATE software to install manually the new driver: https://i.ibb.co/wCgRy3Q/T128-Firmware-update.png

    LAST POINT TO CHECK:
    • Make sure that your game is not set in QUICK RESUME MODE (because this mode is made for gamepad controllers and brings some Force Feedback or Telemetry issues with Steering Wheels). More details here about this mode: https://ts.thrustmaster.com/faqs/eng/FAQ_About_Quick_Resume_Xbox.pdf
    • Make sure that your gamepad controller is completely Off before starting the game (you can turn it ON but in this case, it must be connected to the Xbox with a wired cable to avoid the auto sleep).

As this, but firmware is now V5.04 (T128 XB)

same happening with me on xbox with the thrustmaster tx just randomly loses ffb mid race tried with controller off and with controller wired to the console the wheel has been fully updated drivers and firmware game is not on quick resume mode

Using a controller with the wheel is not advised for the best experience. Use the wheel as the controller.

May be its a Problem of GameInputServices on the PC
    Deactivate the service.

Wouldn't advise randomly disabling services. Uninstall or turn off apps or settings, yes.

@SteveJackson well it's a fact that's on win 11 pc this service massive trouble make with the TM FFP may be with LG too. before this service has get a update it was not a problem with FFB. so the Soulution is, deaktivate this service and the ffb works fine again.
but its only suggestion. if you want have issues than let it aktive.

PS It's not turned off arbitrarily, it's turned off specifically.
