I can confirm this happens into the season as well, seemingly regardless as to what I do with the tires.

This is the exact same bug that existed in F1 22. I have this when playing a two player career. after each sprintweekend the tyre glitch is there. It was also in F122. Insane they still havent fix this!

Same has happened to me. It really breaks the immersion. I've disabled the sprint and just raced the feature race.

I'm on pc and the tires I use in the sprint race is what I'll always start with in the feature race. Regardless of what tyre percentage I end the sr with, in the fr my tyres are always 100% and I get punctures, and to make matters even worse, even if I change to what is supposed to be brand new, unused tyres, they are at 100% as well.

Whatever the issue is, I'm sure they will fix it. Formula 2 tyre allocation are pretty simple and straight forward. 3 hard and 2 soft. hard practice, soft quali, hard sprint, soft and hard feature race.
They can fix shorter session lengths by doubling or quadrupling tyre wear. Or simply deviate from official fia formula 2 tyre allocation and give shorter session lengths 2 hards and 3 softs, instead of the official 3 hards and 2 softs.
Whatever they do, im pretty sure its an easy fix. Because I can already race bug free on full length sessions by manually setting sprint race to official ruleset of 0 stops of the hardest compound. Thats an easy fix for me. But shorter session lengths will not be so easy to fix unless they already have the x2 and x4 tyre wear in the game. In which case, the solution for short session lengths becomes exactly the same as full session length. But maybe not so straight forward. It would require allot of testing. so maybe they will simply deviate from official fia formula 2 tyre allocation rules for short session lengths weekends.

@ivun3 I think there's no secret friend, in long races 50% and complete 100% just add the 3rd new medium tire that doesn't appear in the strategy. it shouldn't be hard to fix this

Hahaha, I dare not say its an easy fix. You know how complex programming games are. You fix one thing, a million new bugs show up. But you're right. the goal is simple. Get rid of a.i. using 3 softs/supersofts. And add the missing medium/hard compound.
EDIT: my workaround doesnt work anymore. I did 0 pitstop 1 medium sprint around hungary. Should have one soft and one medium in feature race. Yet still... No unused medium tyre available. Still bugged...

It's been over a week now and no one has taken action on the tire bug yet. I think this bug will stay until the end of the game, they don't pay the slightest attention to F2

I'm so annoyed by this, how is this issue still not fixed!!!
career is usually only mode I play. I love doing a full F2 season before my career to make it feel like i deserve to be in F1.
I got the game on release and lots of F2 features was broken so I stopped playing.
I've just come back to find that the f2 part of the game is still completely broken, its is effectively unplayable (f2 part) so annoying because f2 part of career was broke on the last game for like 6 months as well. If they don't test and/or care about the f2 feature, WHY PUT IT IN THE GAME!!!!

there is a temporary solution for this bug, after f2 qualifying, we leave the competition and come back and the bug disappears, we would have the harder tire in the feature race.
