Is it me only who finds tyre wear absolutely horrible this year? It makes no sense the cliff the grip falls into after you hit 20% wear, you lose 1.5 or 2 seconds for no reason once you go over that ...

I have checked this and I see in race director their lap times do slow down considerably. I just am so slow, it still can’t keep up.
Tyre wear has been made more realistic, with direct input from F1,teams There’s an initial drop off in grip once tyres exceed 20% wear. If you look at tyre strategy before start of race you see the line thats your predicted lap time and depending on race length you’ll see after x amount off laps it’ll increase
