Ai is effected by tyre wear but not tyre temps… One Their tyre temps get up to optimal temps they stay there. This is most probably by design to stop Ai having variables that they can’t cope with… Such as high temps causing loss off grip

I like the quite like the model this year but as others have said, it's when comparing my pace variables with the AI that I have an issue. I think if you're playing on a pad, the handling model this year makes it difficult to keep the tyres cooler.
I just wish the AI had to play by the same rules.

Unless you are pretty smooth with the inputs, you are at a disadvantage playing with a pad against the AI. I turned off carcass temp simulation and have been able to keep up with the AI and at times last a little longer with a pad, but I'm far from a smooth driver.
